I acquired a 403 control unit. System monitor says software version is 1.1. Clearly, I need to upgrade!

I was able to determine that DHCP is off and that the IP of the control unit is the default 192.168.42.1. Set the PC to 192.168.42.2. Installed the earliest release of the admin CD I could find (3.2). Monitor, Call Status, and VM Lite all see the unit with no problem, but Manager can't Not even to update.

Any advice?

You'll need an 2.1 or 3.0.580DT version first. The new generation managers are only compatible with version 2.0/2.1 upwards.

Link doesn't work, tried it yesterday. Anyone know where I can download 2.1?

with the old releases you should match the firmware with the admin software because it might screw it up otherwise.
It used to be not compatible with lower releases until about 3.2 as far as I remember.
