This is a rather strange. I have a SBS NT network with EX 5.5. Roaming profiles are configured. At some stage some one renamed a few profiles and stuffed things up a wee bit!

I have now rectified all that but I have one small problem.

At machine AA sits AARTHUR who has given permission for BBERT to have full access to his calender and tasks. BBERT sits at machine BB. The problem is that when AARTHUR creates a new task, BBERT can't see it on his machine when he opens up AARTHURS calender. All BBERT can see is the old tasks that were there b4 someone stuffed up the roaming profile setup.

If BBERT creates some new tasks in AARTHUR's calender from his own machine (BB), AARTHUR is able to see them on his own machine, but if AATHUR creates new tasks on his own machine (AA), BBERT can't see them when he opens up AARTHURS calender from his machine (BB).

I have set the delegates permission for BBERT on AARTHURS machine to the highest level and it still doesn't change anything. Both of them use OUTLOOK 2000 and both of them have NT WORKSTATION. The only clue I have so far is that when I go to "folders" from the menu bar in OUTLOOK on machine AA the sharing options are greyed out, but I can still set up permissions for delegates etc... using the "properties" approach. As yet I have not tried to swap users around on to different machines, so for the purposes of this post, roaming profiles may be an irrelavent fact.

I Hope some one has had the patience to read this!!

Looking forward to a reply or three.

Thanks

Is AArthur sharing the calendar from a .pst file or from the mailbox on the server?

AArthur is sharing the calender & tasks from the mailbox on the server.

If this is not the answer you were hoping for, would you mind elaborating anyway?

Cheers
