Cant see network on XP VPN

2 computers on XP Home SP2 VPN - can connect fine, but can't see network although network knows they are connected. Need to know what i have to do so files,etc become visible as with a standard LAN.

Also a quickie - how many clients can connect to a server in VPN on XP Home

How do you know?

Also, are you trying to access other computers on the remote network, or just the one that is acting as a VPN server?

One, assuming the server is XP, which is what I think you are saying.

we are connected becuase lan games work fine but any other type of access that a standard lan would have is not visible or not available. when connected, i can't see any computers - not even mine listed.

also any way of increasing number of vpn connections to the server within xp?
