cant see all computer in network neighbourhood

In windows 98 I suddenly cannot see all computers in the network neigbourhood. The other computers on the network are seeing all of them.

Please explain

Did anything happen/change immediately prior to this disappearance? Check all your network protocols etc - ie, makse sure your settings (egm, IP address) are still in place, the NIC is functioning properly (device manager). Often with problems like this in win9x, best to remove all networking stuff and let windows redetect & reinstall.

I've seen this happen in some cases when the network card drivers or the TCP/IP protocol has been corrupted; removing and reinstalling the device and/or protocols usually fixes the problem.
