My VB6 application uses IDS Mail V6.0 professional to send Lotus cc:Mail messages. The platform is Windows 2000 Terminal Services with SP2.

The VB6 application and IDS Mail Server run fine when the server is in install mode or in Remote Administration mode.

As soon as the server is in execute mode (Application Server mode) IDSMail ceases to work.

It reports an error that the licence file is not available. The licence file is installed in C:\WINNT\System

I have tried copying the licence file to other locations.

I am trying to run this from the console as Administrator, and still get these problems (so I don't think it is a permissions issue).

Any help would be much appreciated.

Was the server in remote administration mode when you insyalled yhe program? Does it work with an administrators account? Does it only work for the first session?

Thanks Tertone100

I have tried installing in both modes, with the same results.

It does not work with any account, or session, once the system is in Application Server Mode, and it is not in install mode.

Regards
