I have a windows 2000 server running SP4 and a 2003 server both on the same domain. The domain information seems to be updating between them but I can't force replication under AD Sites. I click under NTDS on my new servers name and replicate and I get - The naming context is in the process of being removed.

I ran domain prep and forest prep. New user info along with old user info is being replicated.

I checked and my DNS for my domain name on both my old DC and my new DC and it is set for allow dynamic updates.

I ran ntdsutil sem d a under dsrepair.

I am logged in as domain administrator on both systems.

xmsre (ISP) - That is what I tried - no luck

jaksen121 (Programmer) - the server has two nics! What am I doing wrong? I only need one nic!

jaksen121 (Programmer) - I forgot to tell you - I don't see any DNS entries for the second nic - It is disabled.

disable/remove the second NIC and try again, I think this will resolve your rep problems.

I have one nic disabled and there are no entries in my DNS for the second nic. I tried enabling it with no luck as far as the replication goes.

jaksen121 (Programmer) - Thanks
I'm not positive if that was the issue but I had no after disabling the nic and multiple changes so I left it disabled in the bios and formatted and everything is looking good now. I appreciate the assist!
