I've set up Exchange Server 2003 (as part of Small Business Server) on a client's network successfully. All working fine for three weeks now. I used DNS to send mail and a POP3 global mailbox to collect mail from their ISP.
I got SBS 2003 for my own network and as I am using Symantec Antivirus 9.0 Multi-Tier Protection I have been warned off using POP3 with this. Has anyone got Exchange working with this?
After much tweaking I can send out okay, but I'm not receiving any external emails through the SMTP connector. Also since tweaking I have to force local emails by clicking send/receive.
I am glad I am having the problems, rather than my clients, but can anyone offer any advice on the problems I'm having??
Thanks in advance.
Mike
