There is a file on a floppy that I need, the computer can read and copy the rest of the files, however there must be a bad sector in this file, how can I get it? Where is Scandisk located? I thought it was in System tools, but they must have moved it.

ScanDisk probably isn't the best solution if it is a bad sector. What you need is a third party utility that may attempt to recover the file. Check in Tucows and Download.com as there are loads available.

And try the floppy on several different workstations.

Perhaps (if you can) try it in a 9x machine as those operating systems are a bit more tolerant to older floppies.

try the floppy on a non-networked system. If that does not work; search the web.

I had a floppy with essential work on it (someone very stupid stored the only copy on a floppy!) and was able to use an online tool to recover most of the file. Unfortunately cannot remember where it was and do remember it took me about 4 hours of searching!

Some recovery suggestions here: thread779-744465
