I get a "Script Error" window when I try.

Error: The remote server machine does not exist or is unavailable
URL: res://ieframe.dll/preview.js

I get the exact same error from Outlook or IE.
The OS is Win7 Home Premium, 64 bit.

Things I have tried:
1. Downloaded and installed the latest Win7 drivers for my printer.
2. Tried every method on this page: 3. Tried every method on this page: Other facts:

1. No problem printing from Google Chrome (IE 10 alternative).
2. On my system there is no program assigned to files with the *.js extension.

Suggestions appreciated.
Thanks

well, .js is java script, so look at how to enable java script, i.e.10.

Thanks for the post, rclarke.

The suggestion makes sense.

I went to: and followed the steps but my Active Scripting was already enabled in IE 10.

Let me know if you think of anything else to try.

Are you running the 32 bit or 64 bit version of i.e?
If using 64 bit, use 32 bit.

Thanks for the post, Sym.

I tried IE10 32 bit and it made no difference, same error. Not sure what your thinking was here ...

Even if it helped with IE, I would still be left with the same problem in Outlook.

I need a solution that fixes it in IE and OL.

My guess is that this is somehow Java related.

It could also be related to the Registry but I did a registry repair that fixed this problem for others and it didn't help.

Try

Start -> Run -> Type "regsvr32 ole32.dll" (without quotes) -> Ok.
Reboot.

It gave an error:

The module ole32.dll was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80070005.

I followed the KB instructions.

Most of the regsvr32 commands failed, 3 worked.

Made no difference in printing. Still getting the error message.

1.Click Start, and then click Run
2.Type regsvr32 urlmon.dll in the Open box, and then click OK.
3.Click OK when you receive the following message:
DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded

4.Repeat steps 1 through 3 for the rest of the DLL files by replacing the regsvr32 urlmon.dll command in the Open box with the following commands: ◦regsvr32 actxprxy.dll
◦regsvr32 shdocvw.dll
◦regsvr32 mshtml.dll
◦ regsvr32 browseui.dll
◦regsvr32 jscript.dll
◦ regsvr32 vbscript.dll
◦regsvr32 oleaut32.dll

Please keep sending suggestions. One of them will work ...
