I am trying to output a 30"x60" photo to an Epson 9800 printer and am running out of things to try. The photo has a small graphics box in the corner created with Corel Draw 11, and I know from past experience that it works better to convert the graphics and photo together to a bitmap before sending it to the printer if it is a big file. However, if I try to convert it, Corel wants to reduce the dimensions. Is there a way around this size limitation? I am getting deperate as I need to print 9 of these things with sharp detail.

Is there anyway to convert the file to a PDF or some other image file (export as a high resolution JPG or TIFF) then print that either from another program or re-import the image as a standalone graphic on a full size Corel Layout?

After I requested the help, I finally managed to successfully print the job! Instead of converting the vector graphics along with the photo to a bitmap, I found I could keep the photo at a lower resolution and convert the graphics seperately at a much higher resolution and then combine them. The Epson 9800 printer does a great job of upgrading the photo resolution, and this way the file was small enough for Corel to not choke on it when I would ask it to print. The reason for the vector graphics conversion to a bitmap is because for some strange reason no vector graphics will print past about the first 50" of paper no matter how small the file size is. Go figure! Anyhow, I am much happier with the results than I thought I would be. Thanks for your suggestions. That would have been my next attempt if this one hadn't worked.

I had a similar issue with an HP Designjet 500. In my case it was definately a printer driver issue. IT wouldn't do fills on anything larger then about 50". We had to come up with some creative ways to fool the drivers into printing what we knew it could handle.

Glad you got the problem resolved.
