Can't Ping through VPN endpoints

Sorry I didn't respond sooner, email was stuck in spam.
Good question because I've been doubting if I have a true connection or not. I'm using a Linksys WRV200 at each end. When I go into the log I get the following.
240 [Wed 06:35:45] "TunnelB" #30: [WRV200 Response:] IPSec SA established
241 [Wed 06:35:45] "TunnelB" #30: STATE_QUICK_R2: IPsec SA established {ESP=>0xc81fac2a <0x5977b380 xfrm=3DES_0-HMAC_SHA1 NATD=none DPD=enabled}
I'm assuming it's a true connection.
