Cant ping the pc from the router

have router 3640 and i want to install new IOS which include the CCME
i gave the e0/1 of the router 192.168.1.1/24
and the tftp server(my laptop) 192.168.1.10/24
but it is funny that i can ping the router from the laptop but i cant ping the laptop from the router
i disabled the firewall and the norton AV
but still the same problem(the pc can ping the router but the router cant ping the PC.
any advice?

If its norton 360 it has a firewall as well.

do you have multiple vpn clients installed on this laptop?

I ran into same issue last year where I could ping the router, but could not ping my laptop from the router.

At same time I was testing a couple vpn clients (Cisco)
as soon as I uninstalled a few of the clients, i started getting replies. Something to do with the number of adapters
I had.
