i have a VPN tunnel set up between two sites using two VPN Netgear Firewalls. I am able to ping everything except the IP of the BCM from the remote site. I am able to ping the bcm locally from the main office.

Anyone have any ideas?

Check to ensure the default gateway and subnet mask are correct on the remote BCM

Subnet is correct but i don't see an option for Default Gateway on LAN1. Is it somewhere else?

If you go to interfaces/IP Settings then hit Modify you will then see the default gateway option

I don't see Interfaces anywhere. Am i missing something here???

what version of bcm? if older than 4.0 you need to go to Net Link Mgr, under sevices. then go to Permanent Wan Connection, and configure Next hop on primary link with your gateway address

That is for my WAN side. I need the gateway for the LAN side?

Also its 3.7

that is where it goes, its the only place in 3.7. try it, it will fix your problem.

Alright.... I got it figured out. All i had to do was add a static route in the BCM to tell it where the traffic needs to go.

problem solved. another happy user...

Thanks for all your help agian.

Nick
