Can't open ntuser.dat 1

Not sure if this is an Arcserve issue or an NT problem. Suddenly one of our servers runs an incomplete backup job because Arcserve can't open these files:

c:\winnt\profiles\anyuser\ntuser.dat
c:\winnt\profiles\anyuser\ntuser.dat.LOG

where 'anyuser'is the administrator who last logged on and opened Arcserve. Any clues as to what the problem might be? [sig][/sig]

Unfortunately, no.

Ntuser.dat is part of the profile of the currently logged in user and is open while that user is logged in. Try find the dat files for the user you are currently logged in as and deleteing this file, it won't work. You need either the nt agent or the open file agent
