I have a trouble opening some corel Draw 12 file with a bitmap inside (not all of them!).
It holds on, or says "error reading a bitmap inside the file...".
If I try to ignore|retry|cancel, the file won't open.
I tried opening backup files, some of them have the same problem :(

TIA

Paolo

Have you tried importing the file instead of opening? What version of Corel Draw was the original file created with?

sure I did - I only forgot to mention :(
And of coure, it didn't work.

Files were created by CDR 12

Do you have any other graphics program you could use to try and import the file (i.e. Adobe).

Try converting to cmx using the VBA which comes with Draw and then import the CMX

Nope...

I tried illustrator11 form the CS suite, it doesn't recognize the CDR12 files - any other app to try with?
