Can't open documents merged through Details Plus

Hi,

I'm running Goldmine 6.5 and Details Plus 2.1.6. When ever I merge a word document using Details Plus and email it to a colleague / client they are unable to open it immediatly because they keep getting the following message

The remote data (data) is not accessible. Do you want to start the application Details Plus?

They then have to click Yes and Ok serveral times to open the file.

Is any one able to help.

I have spoken with Solica who weren't able to help. They said to talk to our supplier of Goldmine, who also couldn't help as when they viewed emails of the merged documents they opened fine.

Any chance you are running Windows XP workstations against a Windows 2000 server?

We've got two servers, 1 on Small Business Server 2K for MS Exchange, the other Small Business Server 2003. Our workstations run Win2K Pro with Office 2K Pro.
