can't open display

hi:

I have problem to open display of the netscape on the another machine I telnet to m(can run netscape on the remote machine). Can someone show me how to solve this probelm.

When you log in to that machine, make sure you export your display to your system
ex : export DISPLAY=YOUR_IP_ADDRESS:0.0

Where YOUR_IP_ADDRESS is the IP of the system you would like to display netscape. Then run netscape.

here is how I run it:
./netscape -display machinename:0.0 &

the (&) ampersand will run it in the background and makes
the terminal window still available for other uses

Do you gets any error message?
type xhost + at prompt then setenv DISPLAY ip:0
then netscape
