I just installed Team Foundation Server on my machine and have been trying to load existing solutions which contain multiple projects. In three of the four cases, the project is the startup project. I get a message that says: The project type is not supports by this installation. This makes no sense. I have a half dozen other csproj files loading just fine. Anybody have a clue what is matter with these files or with my environment?
Thanks!

There can be different project types that aren't included in the default project types first installed with Visual Studio.

For instance, if you're using Team System and one computer has VS Team System Tester Edition installed on it, a computer with only Team System Developer Edtion will not be able to open the "Tester" project.

Check the computer where the project was first created and see what version of VS they have installed, and what service packs and VS extensions they have on the box (do they have SP1 with its "Web Application Project", did they install an extension that let's them create SharePoint Workflow projects?).

MCP, MCTS - .NET Framework 2.0 Web Applications

Ok. Thanks so much. I'll check on the service pack and extensions angles.
