Can't not print with Illustrator 10

HI, DEAR.
I HAVE PRINT OUT PROB WHEN I USE ILLUSTRATOR 10.
I AM PC USER AND MY PRINTER IS LEXMARK X75.
WHEN I PRINT OUT, MESSEGE WINDOW POPS UP LIKE "CAN'T PRINT THE ILLUSTRATION." THEN LOADING PAPER AND PULL OUT WITH NOTHING.
I DON'T KNOW THAT IS THE ILLUSTRATOR PROB OR PRINTER PROB.
BUT I CAN PRINT OUT ANYTHING W/ OTHER PROGRAM AS A MS WORD. PHOTSHOP, EXPLORE....SO ON.

PLEASE HELP ME... I HAVE TO PRINT OUT W/ ILLUSTRATOR....

You can get the driver here. It sounds like it is important to completly uninstall the drivers before attempting to reinstall them.

Have you run the free update to Illustrator 10.0.3? That should hopefully fix your problem, the documetnation says something about a fix for printing problems. I don't believe it's a problem with the print driver (although I've been known to be wrong!!!)

I got the same error message, when I tried to print preview a .EPS file in Illustrator 10.0.3 for Mac OSX. I didn't install any printer.

Any one can shed some lights? TIA.

This is like the biggest problem with the program. I think I asked this question a long time ago. Haven't looked, but you think Adobe would have this on their web site.

Oh well, I once reinstalled my computer and then upgraded to the latest Illustrator and then it worked on time. Then afterwards it screwed up again. If I can, I just export my illustrations to photoshop and then print from there.

Saddly, this question along with "cant install AI 10" are the two most frequently asked questions at Adobe's forums too. I've never had either issue so I'm afraid I'm no help but you might check there too.
