Can any one tell me how I can uninstall Windows 2000 Professional. I have found sites but none of them really explain in exact detail Setep by Step how to do it where all of the files are located and where to find them. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Hi inspirondel,

must ask why you want to uninstall the OS, if your going to reload a new OS, then their is no reason to uninstall. typically you wouldn't just uninstall an OS, without reinstalling the existing OS or installing a new one. which begs the question what will you be installing for an os?

drinking knowledge is like drinking a good ale, you just can't have enough B-)

If you are looking to replace your OS, you can simply use setup on the CD ROM of the new OS to upgrade or perform a clean install.

Almost impossible to "uninstall" it - I'd never consider even trying it, just zap the drive (or partition) completely and start afresh - you'll never get rid of MS totally <VBG>.
