Can't Login to XP - Help! 1

Hello,

Recently when I get the "To Begin, Click your User Name" Welcome Screen in XP, I click on my user name "Owner", which is the only profile I have setup. It then says, "Loading Personal Settings", but then suddenly says, 'Now Logging Off Owner", and never allows me in to Windows. It's like a bad loop virus or something.

Any ideas how to fix and/or what the cause might be?

Have you tried to log in using safe mode yet?

Yes, I have tried safe mode. No luck. Same thing happens.
