can't login reportnet. Please help!

We are using reportnet and upfront. They both use access manager for authetication. It works fine for the past few months(same ID and password for upfront and reportnet).

But now upfront is still working, but same ID, password doesn't work in reportnet anymore. error is "The provided credentials are invalid. Please type your credentials for authentication.". namespace(cognos series 7) is correct.

Any help is appreciated.
 
Is the series 7 namespace configured correctly in cognos configuration on the CRN server?
 
I suspect that your system forces users to change their passwords at some interval. Cognos Connection is not very smart. The first time you login, it saves userid/pwd for use later for scheduled reports. Once you change your pwd, there is no dynamic check to see if this pwd (the one you use at login) is the same as the stored pwd. So, every time you update your password, you have to go to "Preferences". At the bottom of the screen there is a link "Renew my Credentials." Click on this link, and then click ok. I hope this helps.

I stop the service. replaced with an default configuration, and then change back to my configuration, it works fine now. I don't know why..
