can't log onto nortel meridian opt. 11 VT520 1

when i type LOGI and enter, the response is PASS? and then it keeps scrolling to the warning statement about unauthorized access. it will not allow me to enter a password. i think it may be an incorrect setup of the VT520, however i don't know of anything that's been changed since i was into the system last week. any suggestions?

it could be a key stuck.. 90 percent of us use pc's instead of dumb terms.. those keyboards are unique with rj-11 plugs.. a pc keyboard will not work, you might try canned air to blow it out

WORKAROUND

Login using uppercase characters or maintenance telset keystrokes.
Instead of ‘logi’ or ‘logi admin1’ use either:
- ‘LOGI’
- ‘LOGI admin1’
- ‘5644’
- ‘5644 admin1’
