Can't log into Hotmail, complains about cookies

This computer is the second one Ive seen with win XP home where the client uses MSN explorer with a hotmail or passport email address. When they try and login it says either they don't dont have cookies enable or that the service is unavailable (error code 22). All these settings seeem ok. In both cases I reformatted the computer and it works ok for about a week, then it happens again. I thought it might be windows updates or something. Any ideas please.

There have been 3 posts about this in the past 24 hours, maybe Hotmail is having a problem.

I had another look at this computer and have found that it wont log into any secure sites or anything that comes up with a password. (Runs IE 6 and WIN ZP home)

Hi! u have to install JVM (java virtual machine) on

http://www.javasun.com

then u go into internet properies/security tab/custom level/ and there u activate Microsoft VM!!!
Thats it1 have a good job!
