Ok this is scenario

If I log with the userid unto 2000 Server and execute exchange 2000. Userid on Win2k Svr is OK! When I try getting into Outlook - It comes back with exchange svr not found or responding?

If I log in as an admin unto PC and then log into Outlook with that userID (not ADMIN). I can log into Exchange Server???

I am lost at why ???? HELP --- SOS

That user has not got the correct rights on the server, and a 'user' should not have access to a server anyway.
The minimum needed permissions are logon locally.

Sounds to me like you have a bad profile (setting incorrect) as the user.

PS: Substitute names instead of userID

thxs I will give it a try. Just in case we are logging from a regular PC and not from the actual SERVER. But, I will check that user profile one more time.
