cant locate roaming profile !!

When I try to log on to a win2k machine, it reports a roaming profile not found message. It does log me in, but does not mount the shares I define. The WINS server is a SAMBA file server. Its been like this after we move sthe WINS SAMBA server do a new server.
Please advise !!

Profile path set correctly in account info?

Click on the workstation ("My Computer&quot and check the properties - what does it say for user profiles? Roaming, Local? Try deleting your local profile and then log in again to see if the server finds the profile.

Check permissions on the share that holds the Profiles; Make sure the users have the right permissions to access their profiles.
