cant install vmware workstation 6.0.0 on windows vista

hello there!! im having trouble on installing vmware 6.0.0 on windows vista.

Before this i have install the vmware workstation 5.5.0. But i have uninstall it. When i want to install the the vmware workstation 6.0.0, it stated that setup has detected that vmware workstation is already installed on my pc and i have to uninstall it.

Even i have uninstall previous version of vmware.it still pop-up the same window.

help me please. i really need to use this vmware workstation on my project

Try the "windows installer cleanup tool" (search on microsoft.com or google).

If you can´t resolve this situation without windows installer cleanup tool, try to restore windows vist for a previsous state please.

thank for the suggestion. its really work. i'm using the command window to clean up the previous vmware version.
then im able to install the new version of vmware and it work very well.

Just to share with others. Open the command window and type this command:
C:\file path>VMware-workstation-6.0.0-45731.exe\?
to clean up:
C:\file path>VMware-workstation-6.0.0-45731.exe\c

and you can just install your new VMware version then.
