Can't Install USB Printer - Error Installing USB Printer Support

Hi,

I have a problem with one PC that won't allow me to install a USB Printer. It detects it as a new device and then comes up with the New Hardware found wizard and says it is installing USB Printing Support. It tries this for a couple of minutes and then fails saying there was a problem with usb.sys (or something similar).

It has a USB Keybord, Mouse and Phone for Skype which all work fine.

I have used the same printer & drivers on another PC and it installs within a couple of minutes and interestingly never installs USB Printing Support, it just installs the printer as you could expect.

Any ideas????

Sometimes drivers have to be installed before plugging the device, in some cases HP Printers work like that. Just follw the instructions.
