Well I just got my rig up and running and I'm tryin to install my new drivers for my new VGA.

I put in the CD and it tells me to update my drivers at Nvidia.com so I go there get the drivers downloaded but when I install them, halfway through the setup I get this message:

Access is denied

C:\WINDOWS\System32\nvudisp.exe

Now I just reinstalled windows so I'm not packed full of all of the other crap to keep me from installing, so I'm just lost on how to get it to get access that file\folder.

Also I get a weird message from Adobe when I try to install Flash Player. Like it can't access a file from the download or something, not sure if this is my problem or just theirs...

Are you logged in as an Administrative User?

Is this XP PRO or XP Home? Domain or Standalone setup?

Sorry, got it figured out. The antivirus I was running wasn't completely disabled when I did the install, so I just uninstalled it all together then installed the drivers then reinstalled the antivirus.

Thanks for the help
