I get the message "the system administrator has set policies to prevent this installation". We are 2 admins, and I'm quite sure, that we didn't set any domain policy, as it is an NT4 domain and we don't generally use domain policies. So it could be a local policy, but the only thing I have edited recently, is microsoft update policies.
Please help me here!

You do have policies running on the machine, are you domain admins or just local machine admins? if you're only local admins you need to speak to the Domain admins to find out what policies are being applied, it could be that the policy has been in place for years but this is the first time it's had to show that message.

The real world is not about exam scores, it's about ability.

Ok, new developement: I tried to install the same program in english version and this time it went ok (the other version was danish). The filename was the same, but the result was a lot better :)
Weird, but I don't have the patience to look any further into it. I'll file it under X-files, I guess.
Thanks for the input, though. Means a lot.
