CAN'T INSTALL LATEST LIVE UPDATE 1

I have downloaded the latest live update. Got the NAV defs fine but the live update will not install. Everytime it shows that I need to update this item but the update fails without further explanation. Been going on about a week.

Found the answer. A corrupted live update file in the symatec\live update folder. Delete it and download a new copy from the symantec site.
