Can't insert JPG images into Access 2003 form

When I go to insert an image onto my Access 2003 form, I am unable to choose Jpeg images.

In the file type filter list box at the bottom of the select file screen, there is no listing for Jpeg files. I only get a limited selection including WMF, BMP etc. But no Jpeg or GIF.

This only happens on one of my PCs. I have noticed that the version on the problem PC is Access 2003 SP2 and on the PC with no problem, it is Access 2003 SP1.

I have searched in vain for any information about Microsoft introducing such a restriction on inserting images in SP2. Is this what is causing the problem?

I have a user reporting the same situation. I'm considering uninstall and reinstall of Office, any luck with finding a solution?

Can you open jpegs on the pc that does not work? Can you insert jpegs into other Office programs, Word, for example?
