I'm working on a BC11 systen that has never had analog extensions. I must be brain dead because I can't initiate analog extensions. The system gives me the following:
<EXTEI:DIR=3220&&3235,TYPE=EL6,TRM=0,EQU=1-0-52-0,TRAF=00151501,SERV=000212070,CDIV=000071121,ROC=020001;

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi

May be some stupid question :
What SP you have?
Have you licenses for analogue extention?
Is the board 1-0-52 an ELU29?
Is the numbers 3220 to 3235 in extenions series?
Have you tried to initiate only one extentions on the board?

I guess that you have data corruption on this number range.

HIREI;
EXTEI:DIR=XXXX,....
HIMDP;

Try first this, then SFCEI;

To cfrei - Doing a HIREI will have no effect at all. That just clears the history log. SFCEI might do something, but I doubt it.

To slash50 - HIREI has no effect, but try HIMDP without previous HIREI. You got a lot of signals. If you first clear log, then send command and next read log, there were only some signals from program units.

I usually use SFCEI as first step, this command don't interrupt traffic in exchange. Next you can read HIMDP and restart units.

Very last possibility is RFEXI. This command is dangerous, interrupts ALL traffic.

hi mdTECH,

i'D TRY THIS IN ORDER

1> if NO other extension on that card do
2> BLDBI:BPOS=xxxxxxxx;
3> reseat card
4> BLDBE:BPOS=xxxxxxx;
5> CNBOE:BPOS=xxxxxxxx;
6> CNHUI:LIM=1;

then try yout EXTEI, if still fails do following

1> HIREI
2> do your EXTEI command
3> if fails HIMDP (see what lost signals if need be print out here)
4> restart/investigate the results

then try yout EXTEI, if still fails do following

1> SFCEI

any further holla back

Is the position 1-0-53 free?

Wow, thanks for all the great responses. This is actually a licensed lab system that I can restart at will. I've tried different NUMSE,BPOS and even different ELU29s. A more detailed fault report would be that once I CNBOI the board it shows up passive in CNLIP. I then EXTEI, as stated, and get no dial tone. When digitals call the exts they see "Vacant Number". I have a TMU/2 and RG5DC in the same LBP16 mag. Could they cause this problem?

Can You send to forum printout of commands:
BLFDP:LIM=1;
EXDDP:DIR=ALL;
ECCAP:DIR=ALL;
NADAP;
CNLIP:DEV=YES;

Before sending printout read thread806-898504 please.

This may be a silly question but are there 16 free analogue ports available to you? also try setting up one extension and see what the response is to that.

umm,it IS supposed to do that, right??
