Hi.

This doesn't happen everytime but enough times for it to be a pain. When we receive a call we are often unable to hear the caller, there is just no sound on the line at all. However, if we hang up and take the next call we can hear them fine. It does happen to different callers, its not just from the same number.

We are running an IPO 403. Software version 2.0. 2 ISDN trunks. Roughly 20 users.

Hope someone can help.

Thanks.

Use call status to pin pint if the fault lies with one of the isdn 2's

May also be worth upgrading to 3.0 if you are DT or 3.2 if you run DS.

we have had several calls complaining about the same thing on various different sites. I think there is an ISDN issue on BT perhaps. who is the carrier?

What happens if you put the call on hold and take it back?

The on hold thing I haven't tried. I shall give it a go.

I shall also call the ISDN providers this afternoon to check with them. Thanks for the replys guys.
