Cant get to company website

I am working with SBS 2003 R2 with SP2. We were hosting our company's website on the SBS sever that was accessible by the public. We have recently moved it to a hosting company. The company's internal domain is company.com. Since we moved the site to a hosting company, none of the internal workstations can access the website. I have added the

http://www host

name in the DNS and when i try pinging

http://www.company.com,

it comes back with the correct IP of the hosting site. The internal computers get a 404 error site not found.

You should check the name of your home page and ask the host company to set it to load. EG: home.aspx, or default.asp, or Index.htm? it matters and the hosting company needs to know your home page name and extension. Good Luck!
