But when ii hit 'eportfolio' from the Launchpad, it can't find the link

relativeredirect.csp?goto=%2E%2E%2F%2E%2E%2FePortfolio/default.htm

help

Could be a variety of things depending on your install.
Did you have IIS installed before you installed CE? Did you install to the default directory? Have you checked in the Crystal configuration manager to see if all your servers are running and enabled? Are all components installed on a single machine?

Thanks for reading.

yes IIS installed before
yes default directory
yes all running
yes all installed on a single machine

I hope that helps

Even if the services are running, they may not be enabled. Click the <Enable/Disable Servers> button on the toolbar (has a checkbox over the server graphic), sign in to the APS and make sure all the servers are enabled.

Also, have you checked your event log for any error messages?

ePortfolio doesn't work, how about the CMC?

Since you're able to hit the main ePortfolio launchpad, it's probably not a basic IIS concern.

What version of CE?

What version of IIS?

Tried applying the service packs to CE?

Can you get there by typing this link directly:

http://[your_server_name]/crystal/enterprise9/ePortfolio/en/logonform.csp

Of course, replace [your_server_name] with your actual server name.

Does this take you to the login page?
Can you find logonform.csp on your CE server at:
C:\Program Files\Crystal Decisions\Web Content\Enterprise9\ePortfolio\en

Just want to make sure everything installed correctly.

Thanks for the help

MaryKlaire

My path is only good as far as:

http://[your_server_name]/crystal/enterprise9/

although the logonform.csp does exist where you expect to find it
