I have a site where I keep getting error messages on the PBX stating that card 30 is trying to regsiter. At some point in the past a card was programmed in EM for this slot, but no card exists there now.

I cleaned up the node programming to reflect actuall installed equipment and transmitted it succesfully. The system keeps trying to register this card. It shows up when you do an electShow under the tps table.

Is there something I can do to get this card to delete or is this one of those software bugs that I have to live with?

never live with a bug.. these boxes do not have enough ram to handle much more the normal traffic..

Does the card still show up in the EM node properties?

The STAT SERV shows what is in the PBX Node files.
You might have to delete the Node files and re-import the Node.

Detailed steps to correct problem:
1- Create a temp directory in the NODE directory ( /u/db/node/) and copy NODE.BTP , NODE.XML , NODE.PCH and NODE.CFG files from /u/db/node to /u/db/node/temp for safe keeping .

2- Remove NODE.BTP , NODE.XML , NODE.PCH and NODE.CFG files from the directory /u/db/node , INI the Call Server and then log into Element Manager . There should be no Node seen under IP Telephony .

3- Import Node from the Elan IP address of the leader device in the NODE . Save Transfer the Node with the SAVE TRANSFER soft button in Element Manager .

4- Remove NODE.BTP , NODE.XML , NODE.PCH and NODE.CFG files from the directory /u/db/node/temp and then remove the TEMP directory from /u/db/node .

The card does not appear in the node properties, but if I do an electShow on any device in the node it appears on the tps table. I will try the fix and see if that cures my problem. Thanks.
