cant get plotter to print DWG (pc3 problem??)

- Have Autocad 2004
- The printer is a HP 1220C
- Cant print a CAD file (dwg)The printer will plot
anything not CAD related (ie internet)
- Cant configure pc3 under plot window to have it set up as
a 24"X36" or anything like a D or E size 36x48, 24x36
- I tried under options, the plotting tab to configure new
plotter configuration and it doesnt give me the option to
setup as 24X36, just 8.5X11, 11x17 or 13X19
- When I go to full preview, I see just 1/4 of the setup
window
- I want to be able to have it seup as a 24X36 but plot half
size on the HP printer
- The only option I an given is the HP I have, DXB or DWF

Please help. Please let me know if I am not giving enough info. Thanks

I'm using a 1220c w/ 2002, I don't believe you can set up a pc3 file for anything outside of the limits of the printer. I have it set up for 11x17, and either plot to fit (for D size check plots) or to scale as appropriate for the paper size.
