We just installed our first IP sets, a couple of 1608's and one 1616 in one of our location. The only problem I'm having is that the main line that we ported over from POTS to our PRI won't cover to Audix after the specified number of rings. It rings members of the hunt group and they can pick it up fine, it just refuses to go to Audix-just keeps trying to go to system attendant. Could this be because the ported number is different than our extension range? Extensions are 7300-7599, last four digits of the hunt are 3230.

Any ideas?

you need an audix subscriber mailbox for the hunt-group extension. Mixed number for extension length is not supported in audix. If you have 4 digit audix subscribers, then all must be 4 digits.

There is a mailbox built for the hunt-group extension, it's 3230 as you suggested. I built everything the same way that I built the hunt-group etc for my own department which works fine...the only difference is their extension is 3230 vs. ours which is 7345. If I dial extension 3230 it rings the group fine, it just won't go to Audix. Any other suggestions?

what does the hunt-group coverage path look like?

I believe I may be on to something...

I looked at the hunt group coverage path for Audix (h99) and it looks like it inserts digits 107 before the extension...if I dial 107 and then a 7xxx extension it goes to their mailbox as expected. As soon as I dial 107 and press 3, I get the error tone. Is this an AAR/ARS issue?

Issue was with the pub-unknown-numbers table, we didn't have anything starting with 3 listed. As soon as we added this it worked. Thanks goes out to our Business Partner for figuring it out in about 2 minutes.
