Can't get calls to forward 1

I'm stumped--I have 3 extensions that call external numbers just fine. I'm trying to divert another extension, and the system isn't dialing out. It goes immediately to voicemail. I've setup the unconditional forward in the form of 5555555555 (555-555-5555 is the number), the same way my existing forwards are setup. I've tried setting the shortcode feature to Forward Number and Dial, and neither works.

Watching the monitor output, the system doesn't even attempt to dial 5555555555. I've tried the number as 5555555, 5555555555, and 15555555555. I can't figure out what the problem is. Help?

what type of trunks? are you just trying to call forward a phone? if so are you inserting the 9 in front of the number?

Analog trunks. Just trying to forward to a cell phone. Inserting 9 in front of the number didn't help but I did try.
 
make sure trunk to trunk transfer is enabled on these trunks

Trunk to trunk is enabled on 3 of our 4 trunks. Assuming that's the problem, I'll have to wait because it's not a mergeable change.
 
exactly understood, most likely was hitting member 4 which was denied

no this is a reboot!

We know, but even when the system says "Immediate" (reboot) many changes can be merged and it still works just fine, some work but don't after a reboot, some do indeed need a reboot...but not that many :)

 
The main ones that dont work before rebooting are IP address changes and adding things like SIP / H323 trunks.

On SIP trunks I always simply merge changes once the trunk is created. You can even merge codec changes. Always asks to reboot, but the next call comes in and its changed codec. Been like this since rel 5.
