I need help reformatting an IBM Aptiva. I've used their recovery disk, which leaves me with a dos message "There may not be room enough on the disk for programs." etc. And I'm left without Windows 95 (which was this particular Aptiva's version." Left with good 'ol DOS prompt only. I've tried the Windows 95 companion disk. All their .exe files demand Windows to be working. In fact all documentation by IBM and others I've found suppose Windows is working.

I've tried all the .exe files I can find through DOS. I'm informed that the program will work only with Windows.

Any ideas?

Thanks
