I'm currently using Windows XP Pro, I'm beginning to realize that as the system's administrator I still don't have total access to different areas. For instance, I tried to burn some files from the internet and I kept getting a message stating that I don't have access to use the CD/DVD burner. In the group policy I'm listed as the admin. Is there somewhere else in the user policy that I'm to configure. I'm slighly confused, need help.

There is a registry option to allow/disallow writing to removable media (CDR/USB etc).
