Can't get a line to stop being answered by our main # 1

First, I am a novice who inherited a MICS.

We have a main number which when called was setup to roll over to 3 other lines if it was busy. The boss decided he wanted one of those numbers as his private line, so I took it out of the line pool and turn of the AA for it. Now if you call that number it goes straight to his phone, no one else can use it to dial out, but still when someone calls the main number at times call get routed to that line.

What have I missed?

Any help is appreciated.

You need to contact your local service provider and request that they remove the number from the hunt group of which your main # is the pilot.
