Can't find new user I created in IP Office

HELP!! I am not very well-versed with IP Office. I tried creating a new user. I put in all her credentials, passwords, etc, and gave her an extension that looked like it was an available DID on our system. When I was creating her, I had the option to assign an IP phone (or something to that effect - I can't remember for sure), and I said "yes". The user was created, and she showed up in the user list. To test it, I logged out of my phone and logged in with her credentials (we all are set up so that we can log into any phone in the office). Her name and extension showed up on my phone. I had my co-worker dial the extension and it rang. So I thought everything was ok. But when I went to log out of the phone so that I could log back in with my extension, the logon/logoff feature was not there. Hardly any buttons were programmed at all. So I went back into IP office, and the user is no longer listed, nor is the extension. And when I dial the extension, it takes me to our conference bridge #, which, incidentally, IS correct and I didn't know that. So I don't know how the extension rang at my desk that one time, but the problem is that I can't log out of this phone and log back in with my extension. I tried unplugging the phone, hoping that when I plugged it back in it would say "no user" and I could choose a logon button, but no luck. At least if someone dials my extension, they get my voicemail, and we have voicemail to email enabled. But that is not a fix. Our conference bridge gets used often, and when it is in use, I won't be able to use my phone. I need to get this back to normal!! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Never mind!!
I was able to use short codes to log off and log back in.
