Hi.
Hopefully you fine folks can shed some light on this for me. This is more of a headache than a problem, but it's driving me nuts.
I'm running NAV CE 7.5 in a multiserver Novell 5.x environment on a WIN2K server. In the system console when checking client boxes, I try to check the log files and get the following message:
"NAV could not collect all the log data from the selected computer(s). Please
verify that NAV is running on these computers."
This happens on approximately 1/2 of the clients I'm checking. The other half reports fine. NAV is running on all clients.
Symantec KB says, for a WIN2K box, to go into (some folder names truncated due to my laziness, but you get the gist) " docs&settings\all users\app data\symantec\NAVCE\7.5\Logs" and delete the logs completely, then stop and restart the service.
The problem is that no folders past, "all users" exist on my server. I can find NO logs, etc.
Since this only occurs on 1/2 of the clients, I have to assume that a log file is being generated somewhere.
NAV is running fine. Discovery finds all the servers in the group, LiveUpdate works perfectly and it pushes any updates to the other servers and all the clients.
Any suggestions or solutions to this headache would be and always is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
