Can't Find My Roots

I just installed the genealogy program Roots V (Commsoft) in my new computer, which uses Windows XP as it's operating system. It installed with not problem and indicated that the istallation was successfully completed. But, when I tried to run the program I got the following error message:

"Divide by zero or Overflow Error".

Could not get in touch with the manufacturer. I think he is out of business. Need help!!!

try running in compatibility mode. Look in HELP and Support to see how. ----

Older software running on new computers may cause this error. There is some information here.
