We currently have a PRV analog (private line) (COT) coming from the airport to thru a Century link circuit. I can trace the line all the back right before it hits the switch and it is working as intended. The problem starts from the switch to the phone in the building. I do not know a lot about how private lines works, it does not seem to be tied to a physical TN. The TN that is in element manager that it is associated with has many other lines (virtually) tied to it. All the other lines seem to be working fine. I cannot figure out why this line is not working. Any sugestions?
Basically have a analog line that is tied to a button on a digital phone in our dispatch office and I cannot seem to find where they connect so I can re-attach it.

Thank you

Print out all your routes in LD21

Look for PRIV=YES - that is the first clue. Make a note of those Route(s)

Go to LD21 and do a REQ LTM

Find the TNs in the routes that were PRIV=YES

Print out all of those TN and look for the one that has PRDN that eqals the PVR DN on the phone.

That is the trunk.

Easier yet:

Print an entire TN to a file and just search for all appearances of the PVR DN. It will appear in the Trunk TN and on the PVR KEY of the phone

Even easier yet- Print out the phone with the pvr key, find out what the dn for the pvr is and then do a dnb for that dn and then you will have the tn for the route which in most cases is 31.

A DNB will not report the PRDN value on a trunk TN. It will only report the PVR KEY, which does not tell you the trunk TN
