I am looking to change up a hunt group but I cannot find it! I know it has been set up at one point, as incoming calls ring to the main phone then to another set. I would like to change this, but the hunt group feature is supposed to be found in the Sys Programing menu, and it's not there. It's in my manual, but apparently no where to be found on the phone

Any help would be appreciated.

If you are using a CICS, and your DN length is 2, hunt groups will not show. Changing DN length can affect many settings. You should have a tech change it if you need hunt groups.

Are you sure that it set up as a Hunt Group? Maybe they have it set for the phone to Forward no Answer to the other set.

What is your software level? Ringing groups were the predecessor of Hunt groups and if you have earlier software than 4.0 you may need to be looking at ringing groups. also as stated above if you DN length is 2 the hunt groups are disabled.

If voting could really change things, it would be illegal.

hitting back twice gets me to the system prgrming menu, not maintenance

I'm a pain in the butt, sorry :(

Make sure that the CICS is at least 4.0 or higher and that the system was started up in PBX mode and 3 digit DN's.

Actually, you should always start up your KSU in PBX mode (
unless you have DID's).It makes programming so much easier as
it gives all sets access to Line Pool A, 2 intercoms, no line
appearance on any sets ( for reception set just program the lines as necessary ). The only downfall is that it doesn't program pickup groups (leaves it at none).

DOOBIE718,
use the password of 266344 instead of the password of 23646, 23646 is the system admin level.
