Can't find error code "0c45"

Hi folks,

our machine's display is showing code 0c45
But I can't find the meaning of this code explained anywhere...

What does it mean ?

I don't think there is such an error.

If you have tried to reboot and can't it could be:
c45 Cannot configure the console.

Alternatively, your system has crashed and tried to dump memory, however the dump space on your disk is not large enough to store the complete dump.

0c4 Partial dump, not enough space
0c5 Dump not started, unexpected error writing to dump device.

I would suggest rebooting and checking the aix error log.
This will probably indicate what caused the crash.

sysdumpdev -l will show details of your dump device.


 
On which OS did that appear?

This appears to be the cdrom microcode problem.
Do a 'lscfg -vl cd0'
ROS Level and ID line show 1_02. Since this is below 1_04 this is most likely the problem.
