Hi, folks!

I'm trying to get a VB program of mine to run on another machine. I've used the "Package & Depolyment Wizard" in order to create a setup.exe file and have run this file on the user's computer.

I've also installed mdac_typ.exe there also.
Every time I open a form which contains an ADO object, I receive ann error message for each ADO in the form:

Provider cannot be found. it may not be properly installed.

I've also installed the Microsoft Jet 4.0 service pack 4.0.
My user's computer haven't got Access or VB.

While installing the Jet service pack, I receive the message:
c:\windows\system\msado20.tlb
An error occured while registering file

And the same error for the file:
c:\windows\system\msvcrt20.dll

Should I install or copy these files? How can I get them?

Can Anybody help?
Thanks very much [sig]
Roselene
msg18@cvrd.com.br
[/sig]

I installed a copy of Visual Basic from a textbook that was called a working
edition. I then installed my VB package and it worked. I uninstalled Visual
Basic and the program still worked. Apparently the Visual Basic installation
added the missing files and even when uninstalled the files remained. This
solved my problem for the one computer. I still have no idea about a long
term solution until I figure out what files were missing and add them in
future Package Deployments. I hope this helps you out. Take care.
